Day 1: Arrive to JRO airport

Day 2: Arusha National Park

Your breakfast will be waiting for you in the private villa room. We will depart for Arusha National Park mid-morning so you have time to stretch and enjoy your initial surroundings. It is a short drive to this beautiful national park. The Tanzanian’s call this a special gem as you will enjoy the sights, sounds and get up close and personal with all the animals. You will have option to walk for part of the safari, canoe on Flamingo Lake or just stay comfortable in your safari vehicle. We will get you back to the Villas in time for a relaxing glass of wine, dinner and campfire while taking in the beauty of the African night sky. Sleep well – tomorrow we begin the journey to Tarangire National Park.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Early morning breakfast is on tap today. We will pack up the vehicles and set off for Arusha City where you will be able to use local ATM machine to get money, Exchange money if you want tshilling and any last minute items you need may be picked up at the local grocery story (much like Pick N Save) in the USA. Our first stop “The Shanga” meaning Bead. This is a wonderful community of physically/mentally challenged adults and children who have learned and practice their skill of art work. You will be amazed at what is made at this community. There is a nice tour to give you the history of how this place came to be and how they are growing leaps and bounds. We will relax in their peaceful sanctuary for lunch. A tour of the coffee plantation will take place directly after lunch. We will depart for Tarangire National Park midafternoon so your arrival will be just in time for the vivid sunset. Dinner and relaxation will take place at Swala Sanctuary Retreat Camp.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Hot Air Ballon Safari)
Get your cameras ready for a day to delight in learning. You might (optional) enjoy an early morning balloon safari which will take you above the animals for viewing. Waking up to the beautiful African sunrise, breakfast, coffee and tea will await you. Today will be another exciting day as we depart for a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This park will offer you the tree climbing lion, the famous hippo pool and exotic birds galore. It is a nice adventure and you will have much to write home about. We will leave the park before sunset and arrive to Ngorongoro Ang’ata camp for dinner, drinks and relaxation.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
The sunrise and sounds of birds and monkeys will wake you this morning. A wonderfully prepared breakfast will be waiting for you. As you stretch and prepare for the day – be sure to pack your day pack with your camera, journal, safari hat and sunscreen. We are going to take you to see the 7th natural wonder of the world – The Ngorongoro Crater. We will descend 2500m to the floor of this crater where there are over 100 different animals and birds that have made this their natural habitat. Lunch will be eaten in the caldera together as we sit under the trees to give us shade. We will ascend late in the afternoon and return to Ang’ata camp for the evening.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
We will get an early start today as we make our way to the famous Serengeti. Along this drive, we will stop and pass to the Masai boma team to learn about their lifestyle and culture. You will want to have your cameras ready for this opportunity of a lifetime. We will arrive at Serengeti Ang’ata Camp for a nice warm shower and evening activities.
Day 8: Serengeti National Park

You will board an in-country flight which will take you from Serengeti to Saadani National park which is the unique park of our country. Saadani is known for its “bush to beach” land. Day 11: Saadani National Park
